Our single phase transformer range is available from 500VA to 250kVA, up to 3.3kV. Our team are here to help, regardless of brand or application if advice is needed when determining the rating of a transformer.
Lead Times
Our standard lead time for single phase transformers is 2-3 weeks. However; when required we have the capabilities to manufacture custom built transformers in 3-4 days. Please state this is a requirement at quoting stage.
Manufacture
R Baker (Electrical) Ltd offer a specialist transformer manufacturing service. Through our experience and innovation we are able to offer bespoke transformer solutions. We can manufacture for one off projects through to large batches. All transformers are manufactured in-house from our base in Liverpool.
Rewind Service
We are uniquely positioned as one of a few companies in the UK that offer a single phase transformer rewind service. Our team and facilities are equipped to handle all emergency and non-emergency transformer repairs.
Enclosure Style
We stock a range of enclosures for single phase transformers. We offer standard IP23, up to IP66 or ATEX certified if required. When required custom made solutions for indoor and outdoor applications can also be supplied.

Our in-house team have a vast amount of experience overhauling and rewinding single phase transformers. R Baker (Electrical) Ltd are experts in all aspects of single phase transformer repair and overhaul. Our workshop in Liverpool is fully equipped to deliver a quality rewind service. We can also offer a reverse engineer service for damaged or obsolete transformers.

Where are we based?
Our factory is based 1 mile away from Liverpool Airport and 3 miles away from the Runcorn Bridge. We have been located in Speke, Liverpool since 1982.
Do we offer free advice?
Our team aim to give the best possible advice available when it comes to transformers. We can offer advice on transformer design, specification and price. Our goal is to be your first call if you need advice with transformers.
Do we have ISO 9001?
Marine standards
Each project is unique and requires specific standards. When required
we work with leading test and quality authorities such as DNV, Lloyds,
ABS & VDE.
Is there a minimum order?
No. Our team can supply a single 500VA transformer, but also work on larger projects such as the Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers. This project required us to supply over 200 transformers, ranging from 10kVA up to 150kVA.
What is the standard IP Rating?
The enclosures we house our standard single phase transformers in are IP23 but we can supply up to IP66 if required. We can also supply ATEX certified enclosures if required.
