After Sales
All equipment manufactured by R Baker (Electrical) Ltd comes with a 12 month warranty. Our after sales can offer installation support and advice. Our engineers are on hand from design through to installation and operation.
Overhaul & Rewind
Our in house transformer team also offer technical advice should a breakdown occur. We offer a comprehensive rewind and overhaul service. Our winding team work out of our base in Liverpool however cover the whole of the UK.

What information is required for a quote?
Our goal is to give expert advice when it comes to transformers. The simple information needed to produce a quote is input and output voltage, kVA Rating and enclosure requirements. From this point we can design, give a full specification and price. Our goal is to be your first call if you need a transformer quote.
Do you offer free transformer advice?
We support customers from across all sectors; including hazardous area; offshore and defence. We offer free technical advice regardless of if you are a customer or not. We want to be your first point of call for all your technical advice.
What size transformers do you manufacture up to?
Our manufacturing capabilities allow us to manufacturer transformers from 500VA up to 150kVA. This includes shocked tested transformers and ATEX rated transformers.
What standards are transformers built to?
All transformers are manufactured and designed around current British Standards. Transformers conform to BS EN61558 and EN 60076 standards. Additionally, we can also work with all the leading testing authorities in the UK. This can include; DNV, BSI, Lloyds, Nemko, NSN and VDE. Read more about our accreditation’s and memberships.
Do you carry out transformer rewinds?
We rewind transformers damaged up to 500kVA. Our technical team also reverse engineer damaged transformers. This means we can manufacture new transformers which are past being rewound. Our transformer rewind service is available 7 days a week on request.
What is the lead time for custom transformers?
We work on a 3 week lead time; however we do offer shortly lead times on request. Our manufacturing capabilities allow us to turn orders around in 4/5 days if needed. Talk to our team for more information.
