Transformer Design
R Baker (Electrical) Ltd lead the way with transformer design and production in the UK. Our range of auto transformers are designed to BS EN61558 and EN 60076 standards. We also work alongside the leading quality and testing authorities. This includes; DNV, BSI, Lloyds, Nemko, NSN and VDE.
Transformer Rating
Our standard auto transformer range is available from 500VA to 250kVA, up to 3.3kV. We will ensure at quoting stage you receive the correct rating for you application.

There is no minimum order required, we offer a bespoke service for each transformer.
What is an auto transformer?
An auto transformer is an electrical transformer with only one winding. Portions of the same winding act as both the primary and secondary sides.
What is our IP Rating?
Our standard cases are IP23 but we can supply up to IP66 if required, usually with little or no addition to lead-time or cost.
