We hold a comprehensive range of electric motors from the leading manufacturers. This includes VEM Electric Motors, Crompton Greaves and TEC Motors. To compliment this, we also offer armature and stator rewinds. Our qualified engineers are very experienced in the electric motor repair industry. We aim to resolve your machine breakdown as quickly as possible, thus ensuring your plant is always running.
Pumps
We supply and repair water displacement, vacuum and submersible pumps for sewage handling. Our team have a wealth of experience working across a range of sectors. Can I convert the voltage on my electric motor?
Yes, at R Baker (Electrical) Ltd we can rewind and also convert motor windings to most interntional standard and non voltages.
Why do motors and pumps burnt out?
The reason a motor or pump fails can be for a number of reasons. This can be either the result of an insulation breakdown within the motor, a seized or faulty bearing. This results in overheating of the motor or an overload of the motor which can course failure.
Where are we based?
R Baker (Electrical) Ltd is based in Speke, Liverpool. Our normal working hours are from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Please feel to drop in with a damaged motor or call us on 0151 486 6760.
How long does it take to repair an electric motor?
Our team aim to turn motor rewinds around in normal service of two to three days depending on the specifiction of the pump or motor.
