Manufacturing
In 1959; Pilkington Glass developed the float glass manufacturing process. This took flat glass technology to a ground breaking new level. Our manufacturing team have worked within the sector throughout this period. We now manufacture a fully tailored solution for float glass linear motors.
Linear motors
Our in-house team have designed and developed a range of 6 & 12 pole and de drosser linear motors for the worldwide float glass market.
Trolleys
Linear motors can be supplied with trolleys and carriages to support the linear beams. Our technical team can design or modify carriage designs to your specification. We also work with the leading fabricators in the glass sector to offer a full range of lifting and supports.
Repair & Overhaul
Our experience allows us to overhaul and service linear motors from all over the world. Linear motors operate in a very changing environments which over time can lead to damage. This can cause leaks and damage to winding. We offer a full inspection and overhaul service which reduce costs when damage incurs.
Transformers
Linear motors utilise transformers to control the input voltage which varies around the world. We manufacture custom built transformers.
Control Panels
Along with linear motors our team also manufactures the associated equipment for the linear motors. This includes the full control system for the control of the linear motors. Our control panels utilise high quality products and are custom built to meet site specific requirements.
