Case Study –
NOV Wellbore Technologies

We were commissioned by NOV Wellbore Technologies to manufacture two transformers for use in Zone 1 environments. Our expert ATEX team designed 30kVA and 15kVA ATEX certified transformers.

Both Zone 1 transformers are air-cooled isolating transformers intended for use on an offshore platform. The ATEX Transformers were enclosed in custom-made stainless steel cases to meet offshore requirements.

This project was time-sensitive and required completion within a 4-week period to align with maintenance schedules. Despite needing to pass through client design approval processes, we successfully met the deadline.
